Parents Empowering Parents The Family Engagement Department is hosting our annual Parents Empowering Parents event on Thursday, March 12, 2026. This event will include interactive workshops taught by CCSD parents for CCSD parents. A light breakfast and prize drawings will be provided.

Saturday STEM Program Fire Science, Coding, and Engineering ActivitiesGrade levels: 6-7-8Join us in learning about fire science and how fires affect our environment through hands-on activities adopted from the DRI's Nevada Fire Science educational activities. Some activities will include chemical reaction experiments and simulations, molecular model building, physics demonstrations, and chemistry games. Paired with these fire science activities will be coding and engineering activities where students will build various circuits and prototypes, as well as code some robots and webpages! Internet Safety Presentation Nevada Child Seekers takes a deep dive into the dangers lurking behind the screen. This presentation will explore ways parents may unintentionally be exposing themselves and their children on the internet. Using real-life Nevada Child Seekers case studies and profile analysis, Nevada Child Seekers uncovers how vital internet safety is in our advancing society. This event will be hosted on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Mike O'Callaghan MS i³ Learn Academy with the option to attend either at 7:15 AM - 8:15 A.M. or 12:10 PM - 1:10 PM.
A Holiday to Remember Community Event We’re excited to once again participate in the annual Holiday to Remember event, hosted by Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at Cashman Park (3100 S. Warnock Road).Families who attend will be connected to essential resources such as shelf-stable groceries, healthcare support, a community resource fair, free books on the CCSD Book Bus, face painting, and much more!
