Dear i3 Learn Academy Families,
The Smarter Balanced assessments (SBAC) are a key part of measuring student
progress in grades 3-8 towards success in college and career. The
computer-adaptive format and online administration of the assessments provide
meaningful feedback that teachers and parents can use to help students succeed.
The assessments are aligned with the Nevada Academic Content Standards in
ELA and mathematics. Results from SBAC are included on the Nevada Report
Card.
ALL of our students will begin taking the English portion of the SBAC next week
on Monday, March 27- 31, 2023.
Only grade 8 students will take the Science portion of the SBAC on Monday, April
3 - 6, 2023.
Last, ALL students will take the Mathematics portion of the SBAC the week of
Monday, April 17 - 21, 2023.
Please ensure your student is on time for school daily. Our campus is also open
for breakfast at 6:30 AM.
